On October 31st from 5-8PM we will host our second annual safe 

celebration: Project Halloween.  

We are asking you to donate candy and volunteer so that we can make this event even better than last year.  Drop off bags of individually wrapped candy in the collection bins in the foyer or sign up on your blue card, or by contacting Sherry Riggs, to help.

Our membership class will be offered again this Sunday at Noon.  If you'd like to learn more about our beliefs as a church, our history, our practices, we'd love to see you at Basic.  There is no pressure to join, but joining is an option if you feel led after completing the class.  Lunch and childcare will be provided but reservations are required.  Call the church office at

The Operations Team will be working with the staff to compile the budget recommendation.  Please turn in your paperwork to LesLee Smelser by this afternoon.

Join us on October 25th from 8AM-Noon to work on getting our building and grounds ready for Project Halloween!  While the main focus will be on the outside of the building, some people may be needed to work inside as well.  We need people to bring weed eaters, lawn mowers, pressure washers or any other lawn equipment that might be handy that day as well.  Sign up on your blue card OR in the event window to help with our Fall CleanUp Day!

The Spiritual Leadership Team (elders and full-time ministry staff) has appointed a Building Study Team.  This team is tasked to take the next six months (and more if needed) to study the facility needs of the church.  This team will evaluate and prioritize the variety of space needs, the various strategies that we could use to meet those needs, they will explore financial considerations that influence those strategies, and finally, bring a comprehensive recommendation as to how we move forward.  This team is not a building team.  This is a strategic planning team. These are the members selected from the nominations of the church:
